Celtic have today (March 13, 2020) officially announced a new kit deal with Adidas that will see the German company supply strips to the Scottish giants beginning July 1, 2020. The deal is for a period of five years, meaning it includes the 2020/21, 21/22, 22/23, 23/24 and 24/25 seasons, and is reportedly the biggest ever in the history of Scottish sport.
The news also means the end of Celtic’s association with New Balance. The Boston based firm replaced Nike as the Hoops’ uniform partners in 2015, and this is a big blow for them, having also lost Liverpool to Nike earlier this season.
The first of Celtic’s new season kits were traditionally released in late April/early May during the NB tenure, but with the Adidas deal only beginning on July 1, we could expect a later release date.
