Chelsea have officially announced that Three will be their primary shirt sponsors beginning the 2020/21 season. The telecommunications company will replace Yokohama Tyres, whose five year deal will end at the conclusion of the current 2019/20 campaign.
To go with the name of the company, Chelsea’s new front of the jersey sponsorship will also be for a period of three years.
The value of the deal was not disclosed, but it is rumoured to be higher than the existing £40m/year arrangement with Yokohama. Three also currently sponsor the Irish national soccer team.
The Blues chose to announce the deal on social media with this quote
