Championship outfit Middlesbrough have announced a new kit deal with Hummel that will see the Teessiders outfitted by the Danish company for a period of five years beginning the 2018/19 season. The new Hummel Boro deal brings to an end Adidas’ current association with the club, which began in 2009.
Hummel last made shirts for Boro in the mid 1980’s, with the 1986/87 squad the last one to wear Hummel uniforms.
At the time of writing, Boro are still very much alive in the race for promotion to the Premier League next season.
Hummel currently supply jerseys to the likes of Charlton, FC Utrecht and the Danish national football team.
