This is the new Charlton away kit 2017/18, CAFC’s new alternate strip for the upcoming League One season. This new CAFC jersey is the first to be made by Hummel as part of the Danish firm’s new five year agreement with the Addicks, and was officially unveiled on 18 July, 2017. It was first worn in their pre-season game against Dover last night, which they won 2-0
The two tone strip is tribute to the blue uniform that the Addicks wore in 1923- the year Hummel was formed, and the silver chevrons celebrate the 25th anniversary of the club’s return to the Valley (they returned on December 5, 1992). BETDAQ are principal front of the shirt sponsors, as can be seen in the pics below.
