Orange Liverpool Kit 2017-18 | New LFC Third Jersey 2017-2018

This is the new Liverpool third strip 17/18, LFC’s new second alternate top for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by New Balance, the new LFC third shirt was officially unveiled on 17 July, 2017 by the Reds. The unveiling of this third kit completes Liverpool’s list of releases for the 2017/18 season.

The third shirt is orange, or in New Balance’s words, “bold citrus”, and takes inspiration from the wooden signage of the famous Kop Stand. It also features the club’s 125th anniversary crest and has a 96 emblem on the back.

The strip is completed by orange shorts and socks, while the goalkeeper kit is a “toxic green” creation from the NB Stable.

I think it’s a great kit, however Orange?!
I don’t see the point in it when the home kit is red. Possibly because it’s a much darker red than usual is why they’re able to get away with it, but will it look alright against teams like Stoke and Southampton?

Someone who’s visited Anfield tell me, are the signs really that shade of orange? (Or is it a very faded red?)

What’s the difference between fanta and Liverpool’s 3rd kit? A fanta may actually get a cup :p

Nice looking strip although not suited in keeping with their traditional colours which seems to be the norm nowadays with 3rd kits. It takes me back to a time when Dundee United, played in similar strips from the 1970’s era, I also like the retro design with the socks which most clubs had from that decade especially in Scotland.
