New Bury FC Kappa Home Shirt 2017-2018

This is the new Bury kit 2017/18, Bury FC’s new home shirt for the upcoming League One season. Made by Kappa (this is the second year of their three season deal with the Italian firm), the new Bury FC strip was officially unveiled on July 7, 2017. It will seen in action in tonight’s friendly against Sunderland.

The home shirt’s predominantly white, with blue detailing around the neck and the cuffs, and will be paired with blue shorts.

At the time of release, the shirt does not have a principal sponsor as the offers received by the club so far have not matched their expectations.

The Shakers narrowly escaped the drop in the 2016/17 League One season, finishing 19th with 50 points, just one above relegated Port Vale.

And the award for “fewest Kappa logos on a Kappa kit” goes to…

(That said, the one on the shorts that you can’t see in this picture is ridiculously huge.)

The photoshop job on those L1 patches leaves a LOT to be desired.

I’d like Kappa more if their kits were roomier and weren’t plastered with tacky-looking logos. And even though I’m a stickler for tradition it looks awkward with no sponsor, likely due to the Kappa logo being placed so high up.
