These are the new Carlisle United kits 2017/18, CUFC’s new home and away tops for the upcoming League Two season. Made by Umbro, the new CUFC strips were officially unveiled on 7 July, 2017 by the Cumbrians.
The Double Diamond brand, who outfitted Carlisle when they won promotion back to the Football League in 2004 and also for periods through the 70’s and 80’s, replace Sondico as kit partners.
Carlisle United will also have a new principal shirt sponsor with billionaire Philip Day’s Eindburgh Woollen Mill replacing DSD Construction on the front.
The home shirt remains royal blue (choice between blue and white shorts), while the alternate is “carbon grey” with “safety yellow” detailing, as can be seen in the pics below.
Carlisle finished 6th in the 2016/17 League Two season but were beaten 6-5 on aggregate by Exeter in their playoff semifinal.
