These are the new Werder Bremen shirts 2017/18, SV Werder’s new home, away and third/event jerseys for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Made by Nike, the new Werder kits were officially unveiled on 28 June, 2017. These are the last uniforms to be made for SVW by Nike, with the team set to switch to Umbro for the 2018/19 season.
Werder finished 8th in the 2016/17 Bundesliga season with 45 points from 34 games, narrowly missing out on a spot in Europe (7th place Freiburg had 48)
The home shirt remains green, the away is white, with the last set to serve as an event jersey.
Wiesenhof remain principal jersey sponsors for 17/18.
The only thing good about N*ke is they’re simple. However, this should not come at the expense of a club’s individuality. The majority of their kits are templates with very little variation between clubs. For “lesser” clubs they come straight off the rack! I seem to recall one QPR away shirt retailing for £50 being the same as a £20 training top from the company catalogue! £30 more for a QPR badge and heat-pressed sponsor logo! Highway robbery.
Man am I glad they’re switching to Umbro (score one for the good guys!).
