This is the new West Ham home kit 2016/17, WHUFC’s new principal home strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Umbro, the new Hammers strip will first see action when the club host Slovenian outfit Domzale in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.
The club opted for a glitzy launch that included new signings Sofiane Feghouli, Havard Nordtveit, Gokhan Tore, Ashley Fletcher, Antonio Martinez and Domingos Quina, Youtube star Spencer Owen and freestyle rapper Chris Turner
Like with all Umbro releases, the co-ordinates of West Ham’s stadium (Queen Elizabeth Park) are seen inside the back of the neck. It features West Ham’s classic claret and blue colours with white trim. The sleeves feature the Union Jack, a nod to the club’s history as Thames Ironworks FC and their new home at the Olympic Park.
Betway remain principal shirt sponsors. White shorts with sky blue trim and claret socks with white and sky blue stripes complete the look of the new WHUFC home kit.
