These are the new Morecambe shirts 2016/17, Morecambe’s new home and alternate strips for the upcoming League Two season. Made by Carbrini, the new Shrimps kits were officially revealed on July 2, 2016 at the Gala Draw.
The new Morecambe 16/17 home shirt is predominantly red with a white v-neck collar and features black pinstripes. Black also appears on the sleeves. Two combinations for the home shirt were revealed at the gala draw- one with black shorts and socks, and the other with white shorts and red socks.
The away strip is a grey and pink number from the Carbrini stable.
Omega Holidays, owned by the club’s vice chairman Nigel Adams, will serve as principal shirt sponsors. Morecambe finished 21st in the recently concluded 15/16 League Two season.

No. I don’t like that at all. Even down to the cut of the shorts it just looks wrong. The black shorts might go with it better but I’m clutching at straws.
Away kit has an interesting choice of colours, but pink crest too?
@Sean
Agree. This fad for changing the badge to suit the away colours is just wrong.
Look how shiny and baggy that fabric looks. Welcome to 1987.
And the pink would work much better with black, not grey.
Horrible, just horrible. It’s like a 1992 Sunday league lower division kit.
