This is the new Austria Euro 2016 jersey, the Austrian national football team’s new home kit for the 2016 European Championships and other international fixtures in the 16/17 season.
Made by Puma, the new Austrian shirt was officially revealed on November 9, 2015. Modelling the kit were Bayern star David Alaba, who scored a stunner against Arsenal in the Champions League recently, Ramazan Ozcan and Stoke forward Marko Arnautovic
Austria were impressive in qualifying, winning nine of their 10 games to win Group G ahead of Russia, Sweden and Montenegro
The new Austria 2016/2017 shirt will first see action later this month when the national side take on Switzerland.
The predominantly red jersey, with a white shoulder stripe contains the lettering “Immer wieder Osterreich”, and will be paired with white shorts and red socks.
Alaba has been a real star. Looking forward to seeing him at the Championships.
