Carlisle United have today (October 23, 2015) released a new third kit for the 15/16 season that they will wear this weekend away at Wycombe Wanderers. Made by Sondico, the red and white strip was hurriedly prepared after CUFC officials were told that the club’s home kit and black away kit clashed with Wycombe’s quarters.
Carlisle then asked Wycombe whether they would be prepared to wear their away kit but the Chairboys declined, leading the Cumbrians with no other option but to register another alternate uniform.
The strip will consist of a red shirt, white shorts and red socks, and will be sponsored by Virgin Trains
Wycombe are one point behind Carlisle in the league standings with a game in hand, and will overtake the visitors if they pick up three points at Adams Park.
Shouldn’t lower league clubs be supporting each other? Bit unsporting from Wycombe.
Nice kit Carlise. Shame on you Wycombe.
Is that just a training top? The two Virgin Trains sponsor logos looks like it is.
Maybe the kit suppliers should have thought about this potential clash before the season started. Not really Wycombe’s fault
When do Carlisle United launch there new kit for 2016 2017 season
