These are the new CC Mariners jersey 2015/2016, A-League outfit Central Coast Mariners FC’s new home and away strips for the upcoming A-League season. Made by Kappa, the new kits were officially unveiled on August 4, 2015 by the club.
All three playing strips (home, away and goalkeeper) have a palm tree graphic on the front. The Mariners’ home ground, the Central Coast Stadium, has palm trees at its Southern end, and the club have recently been linked with moves away to the North Sydney Oval and Brookvale Oval.
The club have said that the palm tree design “is a sign of their commitment” to the Central Coast, and that they were not looking for a new home. The new CCMFC home kit is an all yellow kit, while the change/alternate one is an all navy one. The navy represents the waves in the club’s logo, which in turn signifies the momentum of and movement of the Mariners brand.
Skipper Nick Montgomery (home), new signing Roy O’Donovan (away) and goalie Liam Reddy are here seen modelling the new Mariners A-League uniforms for 15/16. Fans will get them to see in action in the new strip for the first time when they take on Perth Glory in October.
The Mariners finished a poor 8th in the 2014/15 edition of the A-League, picking up only 23 points from 27 games, and will be hoping for a better 15/16 season.
