This is the new West Ham away shirt 15/16, West Ham United’s new alternate strip for the upcoming Premier League season. The Hammers will wear a sky blue and claret kit on the road in 2015/16. The Umbro made uniform was officially unveiled on July 15, 2015 and the kit is first expected to see action in the second leg of their Europa League qualifier against Birkirkara in Malta next week
It’s been a busy week for Premier League kit releases, with Arsenal and Norwich both releasing strips yesterday and Liverpool and Chelsea to release theirs later in the week.
The strip takes inspiration from West Ham’s original blue kit worn during 1901-1903. The shirt’s predominantly sky blue with a claret band on the front, and is paired with sky blue shorts with claret trim and sky blue socks with a claret hoop.
In the UK, the shirt can be bought at JD Sports or Lovell Soccer
Or shop for it online at well known US merchants World Soccer Shop
Great to look at,and a suitable last shirt before moving to their new home
Cool. Love it.
So claret and blue home shirt and claret and blue away shirt. Kits are getting ridiculous. The club can wear neither against Aston Villa so really when will that away shirt really be worn through necessity.
where is world cup 1966 on the shirt?
@GEORGE
by the way, its a joke
Nice kit, West Ham have got the best kits this season imo, both top class
@Paul Steele
It can be worn at Arsenal, Bournemouth, Man Utd, Sunderland, Southampton, Stoke and Im sure a few more. As a West Ham fan this is exactly the type of kit I would have wanted this year so I couldnt be happier! 😀
@Paul Steele
They’ll have a 3rd kit out at some point, though this kit would probably be okay at Villa.
Josh is spot on as is this West Ham away kit. But thare has to be a 3rd kit for when they play Villa away so in reality just like the new Celtic away kit this is just away for football clubs to scam the
loyalty of thare fans dont fall for this scam from football clubs.
@Paul Steele
LOL
‘Clubs are getting ridiculous’ – West Ham have been doing sky blue away kits with Claret trim for longer than I can remember, its called tradition. Quite a few clubs in fact invert their colours for away kits, Norwich for example have often done it and even Chelsea. Poor understanding of how kit clashes work also.
As its ‘all blue’ and Villa wear mainly claret with white shorts, I think they will allow them to wear this.
That said, commercially/financially a 3rd kit will make sense!
Aside from that, The Hammers have got two great kits for this coming season.
umbro is working good this year.
a good kit for EVERTON and this one for HAMMERS …
I love the top half, the stripe almost ruins it for me, it was a totally sky blue kit, I’d like it more.
Umbro are always pretty decent though, good to seem them back after a lull.
superb kit. Better than what Everton have got this season from Umbro.
Umbro has done some stunning kits this season, maybe some of the bests of the Premier League
Nice, clean, and simple
And the design above the vertical stripe is very smart
