This is the new Norwich home kit 2015/16, Norwich City FC’s new home strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Italian firm Errea, the new Canaries uniform was officially unveiled on July 1, 2015 to the public.
Norwich finished third in the 2014-15 Championship season, but beat Ipswich and Middlesbrough in their playoff ties to clinch the final promotion spot along with Bournemouth and Watford. They will be the only team in the 15/16 Premier League season to don Errea.
The Canaries have taken inspiration from their 1927 “half and half” home kit that was worn by the club for a total of twenty years. The shirt is therefore divided into two halves of yellow and green, with contrasting sleeves and a green collar. The strip is completed by green shorts and yellow socks. Sponsor integration however doesn’t look too flash, with the yellow square box containing AVIVA taking some part of the green half too, and this might end up being a sore point for several Norwich fans.
2015 also marks the 80th anniversary of Carrow Road, which opened in 1935 with a fixture against West Ham.
Norwich’s goalie kit for their upcoming Premier League campaign will be green in colour, as can be seen in the pics below.
