New Sunderland Strip 2015-16 SAFC Adidas Home Kit 15-16

This is the new Sunderland home kit 2015/16, Sunderland AFC’s new home strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Adidas, the new Black Cats uniform was officially unveiled on 11th June, 2015 by the Wearsiders.

The shirt features red and white stripes, complemented by black detailing on the collar, sleeves and the hem.

The shorts and socks are both black with red trim.

Dafabet are the new sponsors, as per a new deal announced by the club earlier this month.

The goalkeeper shirt features two different tones of blue, as can be seen in the pics below.

Sunderland finished 16th in the Premier League in 2014/15, just three points above Hull City, who were relegated to the Championship. Their seven league wins in the full season was the lowest among the 17 Premier League clubs who stayed up.

Quote from Black Cats star Seb Larsson regarding the new SAFC 2015/2016 home kit.

Sunderland fans are rightly proud of their famous red and white stripes and for me as a player it is a privilege to pull on the shirt every week. The new shirt looks very smart, celebrating the rich history and tradition of the club but featuring all the modern elements that you need in today’s game

Sponsor lets it down, however I think Sunderland kits should be like this. White with red stripes rather than the other way round. Good choice from Adidas!

Feel like ranting about the sponsor placement, but there’s not much one can do any way.

Better for the kids, whose tops wont have the dafa logo.

Divine. Goes to show how fine a line there is between a very average Sunderland shirt, and an absolutely fantastic one.

Yes I agree really good shirt, but think the price they are going to charge kids is a disgrace.

At least Adidas have managed to make all the goal keepers tops different with each team. O wait a minute!!

Dont agree with the price they charge children as my 6 year old son wants both kits so your talking nearly 200 pound by the time he gets his name on the back
