These are the new Scunthorpe United kits 2014/15, SUFC’s new uniforms for the upcoming League One season. The club earned promotion from League Two after finishing second in the 2013/14 season. The Iron’s new strips have been made by Nike.
Scunthorpe will use a brand new home and third kit for the 2014/15 season, while the away kit will be the black and white third kit from the 2013/14 season.
The new Scunthorpe third shirt 2014/15 will be green in colour, to mark the 20th anniversary of the Irish Iron, who were founded in 1995. The green shirt will be paired with white shorts and green socks, replicating that of the Irish national side.
The new third kit will also have the old Unity badge on it (used between 1982 and 1990) for which special dispensation has been obtained from the Football League.
Cracking shirts, home and third. Not keen on away.
teams usually make their old away kit , their third kit. Not normally the other way round.
home is really nice 9/10 but i dont like the collar
away is nice too 9/10
third is crap 2/10
i’m just wondering, what is the connection between scunthorpe and ireland? is it just because a few irish players play for them or what?
the home is okay. the black stripe on the white jersey is bad
There’s a link to the answer to your question, right up there in the description.
