New Southampton Kit 14-15 Saints FC Home Shirt 2014/2015

This is the new Southampton home kit 2014/15, Saints’ new principal uniform for the upcoming Premier League season. Made in-house by Saints following the termination of their contract with Adidas, the new strip was officially unveiled on July 4, 2014.

The kit sees the return of stripes, as can be seen in the pics below. Saints finished 8th in the Premier League last season and some of their key players from last season have moved on, with Luke Shaw transferring to Man Utd and Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana both going to Liverpool

    Return of the full colour badge also. Nice kit and good attempt, feels a bit unbalanced without a manufacturer logo, maybe centralise the badge to compensate?

    During adidas the badge was monochromed, as they have returned to full colour one can only assume it was something to do with adidas?

    Would be yet another reason for them to end the relationship.

    I love it when teams make a kit of their own. Roma was stunning last season, Saints 14/15’s as well!

    That kit is gorgeous. I wish more teams would create their own kits instead of selling their soul to corporate sports giants. Also nice to see Southampton stick it up to adidas (the sly dig “the stripes are back”) for their clear disrespect to the Saints’ heritage by removing the stripes.

    @DaneCaspin
    Southampton have been sporting stripes just as long as sunderland have, its not likely they were going to be gone for ever, it was just a small change.

    Although I support the rivals (Pompey) I’m pleased to see the old stripes back, it brings back the idea that Southampton is Southampton again, let the rivalry continue, I hope one day the blues and the reds can face off together like the good old Premier League days!

    deano…southampton have ducked in and out of wearing stripes..sunderland have made that mistake once, back in 1982….hopefully never again.but it is nice to see southampton wearing stripes again.
