This is the new Netherlands 2014 World Cup kit, Holland’s new home kit for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The Dutch were runners up at the last edition in South Africa, and will look to go one step better at the 2014 World Cup.
The new Dutch World Cup shirt has been made by Nike and was officially unveiled on March 3, 2014. It celebrates the 125th year of the KNVB with a new crest that features an enlarged white lion on it. The shirt has a v-collar and is paired with white shorts and orange socks, as can be seen in the pics below.

If you were to imagine what Nike would come up with for the new Netherlands shirt before you saw it, you would imagine this exactly.
Quite nice, this will easily be one of Nike’s top selling WC shirts.
Agree with paulie. You know exactly what you are going to get. Boring.
@paulie – If i’d have imagined what the kit would be like before i saw it, i would not of imagined anything like this, they’ve completely reworked the netherlands badge, and its the plainest WC kit there is… i really like it, and for me nike are always the most stylish and fashion minded kits.
Classy and simple. Maybe they could’ve put a hint of the flag colours somewhere on the kit (and by that I mean something else thant just inside).
Although its very simple, I really like the idea of looking like a historic kit, although having said that, maybe a little bit more couldve been done…maybe a thin and extended dutch flag running down the sides of the shirt
Really like the squad name and number font.
Fantastic Kit! Badge has a bit of a throwback feel. Well done
i love it, it’s almost like an art-piece. my only concern is that the white shorts will make them look tame, but on a practical level i think it’s a reasonable compromise.
i have just bought it looks really nice plain but simple if they put stuff all over it people moan and if they dont people still moan nike still makes a great shirt
