New Barnsley Kit 2012-2013- Barnsley FC Nike Home Shirt 12-13
This is the new Barnsley kit 12/13, Barnsley FC’s new home shirt for the 2012/2013 Championship season. The Tykes finished 21st in the 2011/2012 Championship season and will be hoping for a better 2012/2013 season. Barnsley’s new 2012/2013 home kit has been made by Nike.
The end of the sleeve design of this new Barnsley FC strip is quite similar to that of other 12/13 kits created by Nike ( Dundee United and the Brazilian national team being prime examples)
CK Beckett are again the principal sponsors of the 12/13 Barnsley home shirt, which sticks to its traditional red colour.
Jim O’Brien is seen posing with the new home top in the picture below.

Barnsley’s 125 years anniversary badge saves the overall design of the kit.

Barnsley were in the Prem.
Admittedly it was way back in the 97/98 season and they only lasted one season, but they were there nevertheless.
While their league performance was woeful, with several drubbings from the bigger clubs (including Chelsea), they DID beat Liverpool at Anfield, which, at the time was no mean feat (only 3 other clubs managed it that season and your beloved Stamford Bridge Boys weren’t one of them).
They also reached the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup that season, beating the same Man U team that put Chelsea out 5-3 in the THIRD ROUND.
Also, in the 07/08 FA Cup they beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield AND put your ‘mighty’ Chelsea out in the Quarter Finals.
So while they’re not ‘Champions of Europe’, and they seem to spend more time in the lower leagues than EPL, they’re hardly a ‘s#*t club’ they’re just an average English club who have occasional flashes of brilliance.
As for the shirt, it’s smart.
It’s neither flashy, nor tacky. Which is more than can be said for the majority of the dross coming out in the EPL this season.

The manager creates the winning formula for a team), but certainly helped), Chelsea last won England’s top division (the old First Division) way back in ’55.

Champions of Europe is indeed a well earned title, despite a lot of peoples negativity (and probably jealousy) I think it’s deserved. Not many teams can come back from 2-0 down, at Camp Nou, with 10 men and get the result they need.
I commend Chelsea and their fighting spirit for that.
