This is the new Real Madrid kit 11/12, which will be worn by Real Madrid during the forthcoming 2011/2012 La Liga season. Real Madrid finished second in the 10/11 season. Real Madrid and kit partners Adidas officially unveiled the new 11/12 strip on June 9, 2011.

The distinguishing feature in the new Real Madrid 11/12 home kit is the presence of golden stripes on the shoulders ( representing Adidas). Player names and numbers on the new home strip will also be golden in colour. The badge has an innovative 3-D design, to reduce the weight of the strip.
