New Blackburn Rovers Kit 2014/15- Rovers launch new Nike home shirt with Zebra Claims as Sponsor

This is the new Blackburn kit 14/15, Blackburn Rovers’ new principal shirt for the upcoming 2014/2015 Championship season. Released by Rovers on 14th July, 2014, the new home kit has been made by Nike and features a new sponsor in the form of Horwich-based claims management company Zebra Claims, who will take over from Regulatory Finance Solutions (RFS).

However more than the actual kit itself, it is BRFC’s kit launch video that has come in for a fair bit of flak, with some dubbing it “the worst kit launch video” ever. And after watching Alan Birkbeck’s “birdysdate” video below, we think you’ll agree too. Continue reading →

New Man Utd Adidas Kit Deal- Adidas sign £750m 10 year shirt sponsorship deal beginning 2015/16

Barely days after unveiling their new Nike made 2014/15 home kit, Manchester United have announced a staggering £750m kit deal with Adidas, which will see the Red Devils end their 13 year association with Nike. The deal with Adidas will commence in the 2015/16 season and is the biggest shirt sponsorship in football currently, easily dwarfing the £31m per season paid by Adidas to Spanish giants Real Madrid. New Lech Poznan Jersey 2014/2015- Nike Lech Poznan Home Kit 2014/15

This is the new Nike uniform for Polish giants Lech Poznan, who will be playing in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League next season. Poznan finished 2nd in Poland’s Ekstraklasa last season behind Legia Warsaw. The new Poznan kit has been made by Nike and was officially unveiled on 13 July, 2014. Lech, if you remember, were the side that beat Man City in the Europa League in 2010.

The kit is sponsored by betting operator STS. Lech Poznan were earlier sponsored by Puma and this is the first season of their new deal with Nike. Continue reading →
