Hummel Utrecht Kit 16-17 | New FC Utrecht Home Shirt 2016-17

This is the new Utrecht home jersey 2016/17, FC Utrecht’s new principal strip for the upcoming Eredivisie season. Made by Hummel, the new Utrecht shirt was unveiled today (May 8, 2016) and was worn in the fixture at home against AZ Alkmaar. Unfortunately for the hosts, they were at the receiving end of a 3-1 scoreline. Alkmaar also debuted their new 2016/17 Under Armour away strip in this game.

Utrecht’s new home shirt is predominantly red, a decision the club said they took after seeing the positive reaction to David di Tommaso’s memorial shirt. The diagonal half and half design, present in the 15/16 shirt, has moved to the back. Continue reading

Football Shirt with Integrated Hijab- Hummel unveil new 2016 Afghanistan kits

These are the new Afghanistan football kits, the Afghan national football side’s new uniforms for the 2016 international season. Made by Hummel, the new Afghan 2016/17 soccer jerseys were officially unveiled on March 8, 2016.

A key unique feature is in the design of the women’s kit, where Hummel have provided an integrated hijab in a baselayer to ensure that the country’s players can fulfill their religious obligations while playing football. The Danish company also chose International Women’s Day to launch the new kits

Derry City 2016 Away Shirt

Hummel Derry City FC New Away Shirt 2016

This is the new Derry City away jersey 2016, League of Ireland outfit Derry City FC’s new alternate kit for the 2016 season. Made by Hummel, the new Derry City secondary shirt was officially revealed on February 20, 2016, two months after the club unveiled its 2016 home shirt. It is also the first away kit for the club from the Hummel stable.

The club chose a unique way to celebrate the kit launch by having a treasure hunt for supporters, with the winner also getting to win the shirt at the Millennium Forum which played host to the event

Umbro last season gave Derry a predominantly yellow change top with a single diagonal black and grey stripe going down from the left shoulder. Continue reading
