Everton to wear pink shirt against Leicester City in crunch league clash

Everton will be in their pink away strip when they square off against Leicester City in a crunch Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium on Monday evening. Victory for the Toffees will see them move to 16th in the league standings- they will leapfrog the Foxes, Forest and Leeds if they pick up all three points here.

This will be the fourth time Everton are wearing the pink shirt in the Premier League this 22/23 season.

This particular round of PL fixtures has been tough on away sides though, with City the only team to triumph on the road (2-1 against Fulham in their red and black kit). The likes of Forest & Spurs lost their game to injury time winners at Brentford and Liverpool respectively.

Man City to wear red and black shirt against Fulham

Manchester City will be sporting their red and black away kit when they travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham this weekend. The Citizens have worn this shirt twice in the league previously this season- a 3-1 win on the road at Leeds and a 1-0 loss away at Tottenham Hotspur. Fans will also remember it as the uniform worn in the away Champions League clashes against FC Copenhagen (0-0 draw, player sent off) and Leizipg (1-1 draw, Round of 16 First Leg)

New shirt sponsor for Newcastle in 2023/24 to be almost 4x of current deal

The Times suggests that Newcastle United have already agreed a deal for a new shirt sponsor for the upcoming 2023/24 season. The name of the party hasn’t been disclosed, but it’s a non-Saudi Middle-Eastern firm, and the deal will reportedly be worth £25m per season. That is almost 4x of the Magpies’ current deal with Fun88, which is reportedly worth around £6.5m/year. NUFC terminated the Fun88 deal ahead of schedule- they have adorned the front of the shirt since 2017.
