This is the new Scotland 150th anniversary kit 2023, a special top released by the Scottish FA and Adidas to celebrate their 150th anniversary. The new Scottish anniversary shirt will be worn for the first time by the Men’s National team when they take on Cyprus this weekend (Saturday 25 March, 2023). The Women’s team will then wear it against Costa Rica in April 2023, and the mens’ side will again don the uniform against England in September later this year.
The dark blue shirt features an old, retro crest with a white collar and the sleeve design pays tribute to Queens’ Park FC. The first Scottish team was made up entirely of Queens’ Park players and drew 1-1 with England back in November 1872.
