Spanish champions Atletico Madrid have indicated that they will be wearing their new third kit for tonight’s Champions League clash against AC Milan at the San Siro.
The third jersey, predominantly light blue in colour with red and white details, is a tribute to the seats at the Vicente Calderon, Los Colchoneros’ erstwhile home for over five decades between 1966 and 2017. The Milan game will be an on-field debut for Atleti’s 21/22 third shirt. Continue reading
Swiss giants FC Basel unveiled and wore this special edition third shirt over the weekend in their clash against bitter domestic rivals FC Zurich. Only 1893 copies of this limited black 3rd Basel kit were produced (FCB were founded in 1893) and made available to the fans, and they were all sold out in a matter of hours.
Basel won their Swiss league clash 3-1 against Zurich yesterday with Millar, Ndoye and Cabral scoring for the home side. Continue reading
These are the new Kerala Blasters kits 21/22, KBFC’s new home and away shirts for the upcoming Indian Super League season. The home kit was released in the third week of September 2021 while the away jersey was released yesterday (September 26, 2021)
The new KBFC 2021/22 yellow home jersey pays tribute to the Kerala squad that won the 1973 Santosh Trophy. The away shirt is a more modern creation,as can be seen in the pics below. Education startup Byju’s appear on the front of the shirt as sponsors with financial payments firm PhonePe appearing on the back of the shirt. Continue reading
