This is the new Rennes shirt 2016/17, Stade Rennais FC’s new home kit for the upcoming 2016/2017 Ligue 1 season. Made by Puma, the new SRFC strip was officially unveiled on 4 May, 2016 in front of over 4,500 supporters at Roazhon Park.
Rennes’ existing principal shirt sponsors Samsic (who have been associated with the club since 2004) have extended their deal till the end of the 2018/19 season
Not much of a change from past jerseys in the new home shirt. The base still remains red, but features a button collar and black bands on the shoulders. The shorts and socks are both primary black, with hints of red.

The ‘ol French billboard. Apart from PSG, Marseille and Lyon, are there any French clubs whose shirts aren’t pasted with sponsors?
What the eck is that?
@Sean
Well… AS Monaco has some decent sponsoring, same for Nantes (except their pants). Otherwise, I have to admit that this billboard “trend” in the Ligue 1 is ruining so many kits, as this one.
just looks like cycling shirts to me, wouldn’t look out of place in the tour de france !
