Six weeks after they unveiled their new away kit for the 2015/16 South African Premier Soccer League season, Orlando Pirates have followed it up with the release of their home jersey.
The home shirt, predominantly black, with a lighter shade of the same colour also present on the front of the jersey was unveiled using “The Spirit Never Dies” campaign by Adidas South Africa. It features red trim on the neckline and the cuffs and has the trademark Adidas stripes in white on the shoulders. The home jersey, and the red away one Pirates released in early June, both use the same Adidas template.
Pirates are currently in the neighbouring country of Swaziland along with bitter rivals Kaizer Chiefs to participate in the Kings Cup.
Kermit Erasmus, Happy Jele, Rooi Mahamutsa, Menzi Masuku and Thabo Rakhale are here seen modelling the new Bucs home strip for PSL 2015/2016.
