Barely months after the England football team’s disastrous outing at the 2010 World Cup, Umbro have come up with a new home strip for the national team as it embarks upon qualifying for Euro 2012.
The new England kit 2010 will be worn by the Three Lions for a period of eighteen months, meaning that Umbro will come up with a new kit for Euro 2012, assuming the side makes it to Poland and Ukraine. However the release of the kit has angered fans because the strip that was released last year (2009) was supposed to last till 2011.
Manchester design guru Peter Saville is the brain behind the new England kit, which has a white shirt and blue shorts. Saville has added tiny multi-coloured stitches to the back and shoulders of the shirt.
Here is a look at Wayne Rooney, Theo Walcott and other players modelling the kit.
