These are the new Hong Kong football kits 2012-2013, the home and away jerseys for the Hong Kong National Football Team by Nike. The new HK football shirts for 2012/13 were officially by Nike on May 28, 2012. The HK team are currently coached by Ernest Merrick, better known for his stint in Australia with Melbourne Victory.
The new Hong Kong home kit is predominantly red in colour, while the away strip is white. The team logo has undergone a redesign to reflect the country’s One Country, Two systems principle. On the inner neck of the shirt, the words Ging Zau, (winner of Nike’s Inner Pride Slogan Contest) is written in Chinese characters. The words surrounding the logo now say HKFA instead of the Chinese name of the Hong Kong Football Association.
The new Hong Kong home goalkeeper soccer jersey for 2012-13 can also be seen in the picture below.
