Queens Park Rangers have announced a kit sponsorship deal with Malaysian companies Air Asia and Malaysian Airlines. Air Asia will sponsor QPR’s away and third kits for the 2011/12 and 2012/ 13 season, while the Hoops’ home jersey will be sponsored by Malaysian Airlines for the same period.
Air Asia have paid £500,00 for their two year sponsorship rights for the QPR away and third kits.
Both Air Asia and Malaysian Airlines have connections with businessman Tony Fernandes, who now owns the club.
