This is the new Liverpool home kit 2024/25, LFC’s new home shirt for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Nike, the new LFC home top was officially unveiled on May 2, 2024 by the Reds.
The shirt is a nod to the club’s famous 1984 kit, with Liverpool winning their fourth European final in Rome that year. The collar features red and yellow detailing, with a yellow YNWA inspired pattern also embossed onto the shirt.
The jersey features yellow and white side panels, as do the shorts. Standard Chartered remain principal shirt sponsors, with Expedia on the sleeve.
I know the kit is a throwback to Rome 1984, but that collar reminds me more of United’s 11/12 shirt.
And given what happened to United in the last decade, I fear the same for LFC after Klopp departs.
