This is the new Bradford City kit 2022/23, BCAFC’s new home strip for the upcoming League Two season. The first to be made for the club by new kit partners Macron as part of a six year deal to replace Avec, the new BCAFC jersey was officially unveiled on June 17, 2022.
The home shirt features claret and amber stripes and has the words “We are the Bantams” inside the neck. It has a black ribbon that pays tribute to those who lost their lives in the Valley Parade Fire Disaster back in 1985. On the reverse “BCAFC” is embossed. The star on the crest marks their 1911 FA Cup triumph.
JCT600 remain primary shirt sponsors of the new Bradford City Macron shirt, with the Mitton Group (back of the shirt sponsor) and Regal Foods (shorts sponsor) completing a troika of locally based companies to have their logos on the kit. Predominantly black shorts and socks complete the look of the new BCAFC 22/23 home kit.
Bradford City finished 14th in the 21/22 season.
Not a bad first attempt from Macron!
