This is the new Dortmund home shirt 2022/23, German giants BVB’s new primary jersey for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Made by Puma, the new Dortmund kit was officially unveiled on May 13, 2022 and will make their on-field debut this weekend when BVB take on Hertha Berlin in their final league game of the season. That game could also decide which one of Stuttgart or Hertha end up having to play the promotion/relegation playoff.
The jersey features a pattern that is a nod to the windows of the Wildschutz restaurant- the place where the original founding members of the club met. It also has “Borussia Verbindet” (Borussia Unites) on the reverse of the jersey, as can be seen in the pics below.
