This is the new Man City jersey 2020/21, Manchester City’s new home strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Puma, the new MCFC home shirt was officially unveiled on July 16, 2020.
The top features a mosaic design that draws inspiration from the ones located in Manchester’s northern quarter. The blue and white mosaic shirt will be paired with white shorts and blue socks, but there’s also an option for City to wear blue home change shorts. The design doesn’t extend to the reverse of the shirt, which is plain but has the “CITY” wordmark on it.
Goalkeeper Ederson will be wearing a black kit at home. Etihad Airways remain principal shirt sponsors, with Nexen on the sleeve, as can be seen in the pics below.
City are currently second in the Premier League and will also be competing in the Champions League in 20/21 after their ban was overturned by CAS.
Looks like water on first glance. Seems more like a reference to an oasis from the UAE. Or the band. Whatever, it’s terrible.
Lovely kit.
To show the cracks in their defence for next season? 😀
Crusty.
