Liverpool based firm Castore are set to become Rangers’ new kit partners on a five year deal beginning the 2020/21 season. While the deal is yet to be officially announced, sources say it’s all but done, with the value around £20m. Castore was started by Tom and Phil Beahon in 2015, and jumped into the limelight when they inked a deal with tennis star Andy Murray last year.
The Beahon brothers have reportedly set their eyes on making Castore the “No.1 premium sportswear brand” in the world, and the Gers deal will be their first major foray into the footy market.
There are also strong rumours that Castore will announce a partnership with a big F1 team and potentially another rugby union club (expected to be Saracens) in the near future.
