Nearly two months after unveiling their new home kit for the 18/19 Premier League season, Liverpool have today (June 13, 2018) followed it up with the release of their secondary kit. Launched using the “This means More” tagline, the new away kit is a “deep violet” creation from New Balance, a colour last seen in the Reds’ third kit for the 2012/13 season.
The away kit features a linear graphic on the front that takes inspiration from the new main Stand at Anfield. The LFC, NB and Standard Chartered logos are in orange, with a tribute to the Hillsborough 96 also appearing on the back of the jersey. The sleeves and the back are “deep plum” in colour.
Liverpool’s goalkeepers will don a “vivid cactus” number for the Reds’ travels in 2018-19.
Fans choosing to personalise their jersey can choose between orange and white letters on the back.
Not a fan of this Ribena kit sorry!
I actually quite like this. Although I think it would look better if the orange was changed to yellow.
