This is the new West Ham home kit 2017/18, West Ham United’s new principal strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Umbro, the new WHUFC home shirt was officially unveiled by the London outfit on June 21, 2017.
The two tone claret home shirt features a chevron design that is inspired by the strip worn by the club in their famous 1976 European Cup Winners’ Cup final against Belgian giants Anderlecht. Another inspiration is the Hammers’ new stadium- Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, where the floodlights and roof use a triangular shape.
The Umbro diamonds are present on the sky blue sleeves, with white shorts and socks completing the look of the new kit.
The shirt matches the leaks that came out earlier this month, and like the already released away one, is sponsored by BetWay.
Striker Andy Carroll, playmaker Manuel Lanzini and midfielder Mark Noble are here seen modelling the new 17/18 WHUFC home strip.
