New BHAFC Kit 2017-18 | Nike Brighton & Hove Albion Home Jersey 2017-2018

This is the new Brighton home shirt 17/18, Brighton and Hove Albion’s new kit for their maiden Premier League season. The Seagulls earned automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of the 2016/17 season along with Newcastle United, and their new shirt, made by Nike, was unveiled at the club’s promotion parade.

The club will be sponsored by banking major American Express in their first ever Premier League season.

Brighton would’ve been promoted as Championship winners, but for Jack Grealish’s dramatic late equaliser on the final day of the season that saw Rafa Benitez and Newcastle claim the title.

Nike are so boring. This template is probably one of the worst I’ve ever had the misfortune to see and ALL their international and top flight teams are wearing it.

And can I just say I HATE the PL’s ban on back stripes?

Nice kit. The pl don’t have a ban on stripes on back saints have stripes on their shirt back this season

It’s not the PL that bans stripes, it’s UEFA (in fact they even ban half-and-half backs as seen on Monaco’s Champions League shirt).

Brighton haven’t had a striped back for a few seasons now anyway, and a blue back at least looks better than last season’s weird white back with red numbers.

UEFA doesn’t completely ban back stripes. Look at Barcelona.

They use a formula to determine if there is sufficient contrast between the jersey and numbers. So Barcelona can have blue and red stripes with yellow numbers while, say Newcastle, would have to make an adjustment.
