New Hibs Strips 2016/17 | Nike Hibernian FC Home & Away Kits 16-17

These are the new Hibs kits 16/17, Hibernian FC’s new home and away tops for the upcoming Scottish CHampionship season. Made by Nike, the new Hibs strips were officially unveiled on 30 June, 2016 by the club.

Hibs finished third in the Scottish Championship last season and won their playoff-quarterfinal against Raith Rovers before going down to Falkirk in the semis, losing 5-4 on aggregate as Bob McHugh’s injury time goal sent the latter through to the final.

Hibs however did win the Scottish Cup, edging Rangers 3-2 in front of a 50,000 strong crowd at Hampden Park.

The new home shirt sees Hibs return to emerald green after a vote last season saw 3/4th of the supporters choosing emerald to replace the bottle green that was used in the 14/15 and 15/16 tops.

The away one is a simple fluorescent yellow one, and both tops are sponsored by Marathonbet.

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but I’m certain the away top is last seasons goalkeeper top lol.

  2. I was there 3-2

In response to Ralph, yes, you are wrong. The only similarly with last seasons gk top is the colour.
Loving both outwits, particularly the home one ?

That home shirt is immense – looks exactly how a Hibernian shirt should. Nice looking sponsor too.

I also like the away kit. I wouldn’t wear it myself, but can see it being popular with the yoof.

Love the home kit and good to see the return of the yellow but why the Nike park template again, would be better on the template of Dundee United away kit with the gradient on the sleeves

Sorry but what on earth does the yellow have to do with the SACRED green and white colours of Hibs. I know the ridiculous ‘away’ strips are just to make more money off the fans – I don’t know how they put up with this nonsense – celtic in pretty, girlie pink for instance – what’s that all about? If I were a hibee fan I’d be demanding that the away strip you don’t actually need be in some form of SACRED GREEN AND WHITE for god’s sake!
