This is the new Mainz shirt 16/17, FSV Mainz 05’s new home kit for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Made by Italian firm Lotto, the new Mainz strip was officially unveiled on 11 May, 2016 and will be worn by the club in this weekend’s crunch clash against Hertha Berlin.
At the time of writing this article, Mainz are assured of a spot in Europe next season, but can be overtaken by both Hertha and Schalke, which may see them have to settle for a Europa league qualifying spot instead of a direct berth in the group stages
The new Mainz shirt features a classic collar and is sponsored by Kommerling. Red or white shorts may be worn as required.

Not bad, and at least the trim carries on through the shorts & socks too.
Looks very much like an old Nike template to me this season’s Mainz home kit is far far better in my view.
