This is the new Feyenoord away shirt 2016/2017, Feyenoord Rotterdam’s new alternate jersey for the upcoming Dutch Eredivisie season. The shirt made its debut in Feyenoord’s recently concluded game against Willem II today, a fixture they won 1-0
The kit, sponsored by OPEL, is an all light blue uniform, although the club also have the option to wear darker coloured shorts. The central stripe design on the jersey is similar to what Adidas produced for Bosnia in their 2016/17 home shirt.
Feyenoord are third in the league currently, but far behind the title chasing duo of Ajax and PSV Eindhoven. The club have however booked a spot in next season’s Europa League after beating Utrecht in the KNVB Cup
Like the colours, but my word, that OPEL logo hogs so much of space on the shirt.
Love this kit. Shame about the sponsor though.
Love this! But did the sponsor really need to have Opel appear twice? get rid of the wordage on the bottom and it will be near perfect.
Another great kit from adidas putting Nike to shame
Why the useless (apart from being ugly) blue stripe on the chest?
