This is the new FC Dallas home jersey 2016, Major League Soccer outfit FC Dallas’ new principal uniform for the upcoming season. Made by Adidas, the new FC Dallas primary kit was officially unveiled at the club’s Cocktails and Cleats event on March 3, 2016.
FC Dallas finished on top of the Western Conference last season and second in the overall table, but were beaten in the MLS Cup Conference finals by Portland.
The new shirt sees the return of hoops and features the updated logo of sponsors Advocare. The hoops on the front feature different shades of red with white outlines. The neck and the cuffs both have white and blue trim, with the inside of the neck having the words “Dallas till I die”
The jock tag on the lower front features the US flag, with the upper back featuring the Lone Star from the Texas one. White shorts and red socks complete the look of this new FCD home strip.
The left sleeve features the LH emblem, a tribute to MLS founder and sports promoter Lamar Hunt.
As always with MLS uniforms, the kits come in two versions (replica and authentic) and some of the features on the authentic will not be present on the replica jersey.
