This is the new Boca Juniors jersey 2016, Argentine club Boca Juniors’ new principal shirt for the upcoming season. Made by Nike, the new Boca shirt was officially revealed to the club by star striker Carlos Tevez on November 30, 2015.
Tevez, the former Man Utd, West Ham, Man City and Juventus forward, returned home from Europe in the 2015 to his native Argentina and Boca, with whom he had begun his professional career and won both the Copa Libertadores and the Intercontinental Cup back in 2003.
The shirt features minor changes from the last home jersey, with a lighter blue and a v-neck among the more noticeable ones.
The top has been released with the Nike motto “Creada par Brillar”, which translated into English means “Designed to shine”.
