German club Werder Bremen have unveiled a special alternate strip that they will debut in their upcoming Cup tie against FC Koln on 28th October, 2015. Made by Nike, the strip will also be worn in their final Bundesliga home match of 2015, which coincidentally enough, will again be against Koln. It may also be used on other occasions in case of a kit clash.

The shirt’s predominantly white with a red sash (the two colours of the City of Bremen). The jersey also features the key from Bremen’s coat of arms.

Both the letters and numbers will be in green on this special Werder event jersey, as can be seen in the pics below. As with their home and away tops, Wiesenhof remain principal shirt sponsors

At the time of writing this article, Bremen are 16th in the 18 team Bundesliga, having won just two of their opening nine league outings.
