This is the new Coventry away shirt 2015/2016, Coventry City’s new change strip for the upcoming season by new kit partners Nike. The strip made its debut in CCFC’s recent friendly against Nuneaton Town.
Coventry’s new away kit is a red one from Nike, making this the first time since 2006/07 that the Sky Blues have used red as the principal colour for their alternate uniform.
City, who parted ways with Puma this summer, had originally released an away kit made by the German manufacturer that was supposed to last two seasons- 2014/15 and 2015/16. That white kit is however currently retailing at a significant discount after the Sky Blues parted company with Puma early and opted to go with Nike, thereby preempting the need for a new alternate uniform.
Barnsley….
Why red ?
Were,s the green and black stripes?…..still this is an improvement on last seasons puma effort.
Another expensive polo shirt.
Jimbo is thinking, “now what does this remind me of”?
Identical to an old Barnsley kit.
Coventry and Red? Doesn’t quite sit right, like when Liverpool wear blue
Always in our shadow… trying to copy our away kit for last year…
Bit boring, would have looked better with black shorts and get rid of that terrible collar
