This is the new Atletico Madrid away jersey 2015/2016, Atleti’s new change strip for the upcoming La Liga season. Made by Nike, the new Los Colchoneros’ away kit was officially unveiled on July 8, 2015.
The dark blue kit is a modern take on the blue away uniform worn by Atletico Madrid in their famous 1995-96 season, when they did the double (El Doblete) by winning the league and the Spanish Kings Cup.
The shirt features two shades of blue, on on the main body and the other on the sleeves, and features a red stripe on either flank that continues down the shorts. Plus500 are again sponsors of the away kit, as they were with the home uniform.
Inside the back of the neck is a Spanish flag with the anniversary dates “1995/96” and 2015/16.
The shirt will officially go on sale on July 23.

Poor template and dangerously close to PSG… not good
I’d give Nike an 8/10 for these two Atletico efforts these season. Quite good.
It would be dangerous if they met in European competition and were ordered to wear the same colour strip. But there are two chances of that happening.
This is the best of the Nike kits this season for any of thare clubs.
I still think Nike could do a hell of a lot beter than this.
