New AVFC Kit 2015-16 Macron Aston Villa Shirt 2015-2016 Home Yellow Away

These are the new Aston Villa shirts 15/16, AVFC’s new home and alternate strips for the upcoming Premier League campaign. Made by Macron, the new Villa home and away tops 2015/16 were officially unveiled on 7 July, 2015.

Villa finished 17th in the 14/15 Premier League season, avoiding relegation by the skin of their teeth. They also reached the final of the FA Cup, where they lost 4-0 to Arsenal.

The new Villa home shirt for 15/16 features the club’s traditional claret and blue colours and features subtle shadow-effect stripes. There is a new primary sponsor in the form of Intuit QuickBooks, who sponsored West Bromwich Albion last season.

The jersey has Villans detailing on the back and is paired with white shorts and claret and blue hooped socks. The shirt, featured Aston Villa detailing on the back, attempts to fuse tradition with modern design.

The home goalkeeper shirt features a V-neck with a “honeycomb” effect, as can be seen in the pics below.

Sponsor logo is obstructive but kits are good. Like yellow away kits. They have plenty more to learn from us though

Not overly keen on the home kit but the away kit is a real cracker and the Goalkepers kit is So.so.

    Home 7 out of 10
    Away 10 out of 10
    Goalkeepers 8 out of 10.

As painful as it is for me to say it, these are very sound kits, particularly the away. Sponsor logo looks better on these than Albion’s last season.

Sean :What’s with all the Sherwood quotes?

“Marketing” innit? I’m just waiting for one that says “Ha ha Spurs, look what you could have had!”

I think this is the first time Villa have changed the colour of the badge to fit with the away kit since 89-90, and it looks great. The claret and blue colours of the badge can be quite jarring on away kits, this just fits so much better.

Is it just me or does the away kit look a but like a Puma kit, notably Dortmunds Home kit?
