These are the new Dortmund kits 15/16, BVB’s new home and third shirts for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Made by Puma, the new Dortmund strips were officially unveiled on July 1, 2015 to the public. Hundreds of fans queued up at Signal Iduna Park to buy the new jersey at midnight- however the official price increase of five euros from last season (74.95 to 79.95) wasn’t welcomed by all, with supporters taking to social media to vent their frustration.
The release of the kits confirm the leak of the home jersey back in May.
The jersey is predominantly yellow with black pinstripes, harking back to the Championship winning kit of 2011, and BVB will be hoping for similar luck in the 15/16 season after poor 2014/15 Bundesliga season, where they ended up parting company with long time manager Jurgen Klopp. The club had some success in the Champions League, where they beat Arsenal to top spot in their group, but went out in the round of 16 to eventual runners up Juventus.
Black shorts and yellow and black striped socks complete the new Dortmund 2015/16 home kit.
The third shirt is white in colour with yellow on the shoulders, paired with white shorts and socks. Both jerseys have Dortmund written on the lower part of the back, as can be seen in the pics below
Evonik continue to be sponsors of the new Dortmund kits for 2015/16.
Both kits just look like Puma templates to me.
Puma need to.get back to the
drawing board and get some creativity in to thare kits.
Their home one is like a restrained Watford kit. Very nice
Excellent. The home shirt has a very early 80’s feel.
Fab kits.
These Puma templates are so dull
I think these are great kits 🙂 I think Watford’s kit would have been better had it been like this.
