This is the new Nantes home kit 2015/16, FC Nantes’ new home strip for the upcoming Ligue 1 season. Made by Umbro, the new Nantes jersey was officially unveiled on June 26, 2015. FCN finished 14th in the French top flight in the 2014/15 season.
Nantes are called Les Jaunes et Verts (the yellow and green), and this new Umbro kit stays true to those colours, as you can see from the pics below. Predominantly yellow shirt with subtle vertical stripes and green detailing on the neckline and cuffs, paired with yellow shorts and socks.
This is the second season Nantes have been with Umbro. They inked a deal last year and switched from Italian firm Errea. The 2014/15 home shirt had fully green cuffs- this season’s has green on it, but in a more understated way. The subtle stripes mentioned above is the other big change, but there’s not too much different otherwise, and probably for good reason- this being the home kit.
Last season, the away shirt had the same template as the home one, simply swapping the yellow and green for a dark black and florescent combo. We’ve got to wait and see what Umbro comes up for this season.
Synergie continue to be shirt sponsors for 2015/16.
